The Barbary Coast Watermans Club Bridge Assault returns for its 4th season!
Date and Time: Saturday May 12th, 2017 Meet at 8:30 am at Rodeo Beach/Fort Cronkite parking lot for a prompt start. Please be advised that there is limited cell service in the Marin Headlands. Event Logistics: The race is from Rodeo Beach/Fort Cronkite to Bar Bocce in Sausalito. Course Distance: The race course distance is just under 10 miles. We will paddle out and around Point Bonita finishing at Bar Bocce. We will provide a support boat for the duration of the event. Price: $50 Includes:
After Party: The after party will be held at Bar Bocce in Sausalito (starting around 2 pm or when people arrive). We will have a spot on the public beach in front of the restaurant. Please feel free to BYOB, in addition the restaurant has a fully stocked bar and the best food in Sausalito. We encourage friends and family to join after the race. |

About the Barbary Coast Waterman's Club
The Barbary Coast Waterman’s Club BCWC is a collective of like minded waterman based out San Francisco. California. It is founded on respect for the Ocean and the pursuit of athletic excellence through sport. The annual open ocean paddle race/downwinder is a way to raise awareness for the sport, support designated charities and come together as a collective waterman community. It brings together some of the most talented ocean enthusiasts in California looking to test themselves against the stout competition and the elements of the Pacific and San Francisco Bay.
